“Amidst a deepening economic recession, and financial uncertainty, Unfuh Qwittable and the Scoundrel Nation have decided that we are in need of new ways of relating, identifying, and new modes of thought. As a representative of the crew Audio Perm, Unfuh is using this project as a way to begin telling the story of a young working-class man from Northeast Minneapolis — a part of the city currently undergoing major transformations as it gets more thoroughly gentrified. With production by group members Taylor Madrigal and Julian Fairbanks, and southside veterans Sevadar Sehaj and Cole Nibbe, “The Third Shift” is a concise debut project from the underbelly of Minneapolis’ hip veneer.”
